Dr. Marc Gonzalez, raised in Charlotte, NC, discovered his passion for dentistry after a positive childhood experience overcoming dental challenges. A graduate of UNC Chapel Hill and the UNC Adams School of Dentistry, he is committed to lifelong learning, community service, and helping patients regain their smiles with compassionate care.

Dr. Miguel Velez III discovered his passion for dentistry early as a dental assistant. A graduate of the University of New England College of Dental Medicine and an OKU Honor Society inductee, he’s committed to patient-centered care, building trust, and transforming smiles with compassion.

Embark Dental is a strong believer in giving back to the community. Dr. Gonzalez’s volunteering experiences in his local community and dental international service trips has served as an inspiration to maintain this dedication and passion.
For every new patient exam, we will donate $5 to one of three local non-profit organizations of the patient’s choice—Asheville Humane Society, Blue Ridge Parkway Foundation, or Leicester Elementary School.
